Sunset Cruises
History, drama and spectacular colors. If you had your own boat on the St. Marys River, this is what you would do to impress friends and coworkers. Sunsets over the south Georgia coast can be breathtakingly beautiful — especially when seen from the water. Our two-hour sunset cruise begins at the historic town of St. Marys — second oldest city in the USA. Depending on conditions, our leisurely trip may take you up or down the St. Marys River, along the inside of Cumberland Island National Seashore, past historic Fort Clinch or even out to sea. 
Along the way, your captain will share the rich history of our region — a history laced with tales of pirates and adventurers, merchants and scalawags. He’ll tell you where and how to look for exotic birds and elusive water creatures. As the sun sets, you will see it from a vantage point few get to share. 
Relax and enjoy the view. Share the experience with your companions as though you were on your own private yacht. Guests are welcome to bring coolers with whatever food and beverage they would like to consume while on board. Pricing and Reservations
Regularly scheduled sunset cruises are $45 per person (minimum of four passengers), and take place Wednesday evenings, starting an hour before sunset. For availability, consult our calendar. Private sunset cruise charters are also available; call for details. You can reserve space on any of our regularly scheduled charters by calling the store or reserve on line.
